At American Cosmetics, we ensure your orders are delivered safely, quickly, and directly to your doorstep anywhere across Bangladesh. Please review our shipping terms and delivery procedures below.

1. Delivery Coverage & Timelines

We deliver nationwide across all 64 districts in Bangladesh through trusted courier networks:

Inside Dhaka Metro: 24 to 48 hours (1 to 2 business days).

Outside Dhaka (Suburbs & All Districts): 3 to 5 business days.

(Note: Delivery timelines commence after the order has been verified and dispatched from our warehouse.)

2. Delivery Charges

Inside Dhaka Metro: ৳60 – ৳80 (Standard flat rate)

Outside Dhaka: ৳120 – ৳150 (Standard nationwide courier rate)

Free Delivery: Applicable during specific promotional campaigns or on qualifying minimum cart values (when advertised on our website).

3. Order Verification & Dispatch Procedure

Order Placement: Once you complete checkout on www.americancosbd.com, you will receive an automated order confirmation via SMS/Email.

Phone Verification: For first-time customers and Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, our customer support team may call to verify the order details, shade/item preferences, and address.

Dispatch: Verified orders placed before 3:00 PM are processed and handed over to the courier partner on the same business day.

4. Cash on Delivery (COD) & Advance Payment Rules

Inside Dhaka: Full Cash on Delivery (COD) is available with zero advance payment required.

Outside Dhaka: Full Cash on Delivery is available across most coverage areas. However, for remote union/thana areas or high-value orders, an advance courier security deposit (e.g., ৳150–৳200 via bKash/Nagad) may be required to confirm the dispatch, with the remaining balance collected at delivery.

5. Package Inspection at Delivery (Mandatory Rule)

To safeguard our customers against transit damage or packing errors, we enforce an Open-Box Inspection Rule:

Customers are strictly requested to inspect the parcel and verify the item count and physical condition in front of the delivery personnel before completing full payment.

If a product is visibly damaged, broken, leaking, or incorrect, hand it back to the delivery agent immediately and call our helpline (01714-669945).

Once the delivery rider leaves, claims regarding missing or externally broken items become difficult to authenticate with the courier service.

6. Delivery Delays & Exceptions

Delivery schedules may be temporarily delayed due to:

Extreme weather events (floods, cyclones, heavy rain).

Public holidays, national strikes, or regional transport blockades.

Incomplete/incorrect delivery addresses or unreachable recipient contact numbers.

If our courier partner cannot reach you via phone after 2–3 attempts, the parcel will be held at the local hub for 48 hours before being returned to our central office.
